MasterClass Tutors is helping students all over Brent

“I have been using Masterclass Tutors for Maths tuition, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions for my children’s education. My daughter was working at a Grade 4, and under Mr. Arif’s teaching she progressed all the way to a Grade 7. His explanations are always clear, concise and easy to understand, and he uses excellent progress-tracking so we always knew exactly where she was improving.

Mr. Arif also supported my son with his SATs revision. He quickly identified his weaknesses, targeted them effectively, and helped build his confidence. I have even sought his advice for my older daughter as she prepared for A-Levels, and he has always guided us with honesty, insight and genuine care.

What truly stands out is that Mr. Arif teaches with real passion. He goes beyond tutoring—he provides mentorship, educational advice and long-term direction. He has played a big role in supporting the academic development of all my children.

I highly recommend Masterclass Tuition and Mr. Arif to any parent looking for high-quality, dedicated and effective tutoring. We are truly grateful for everything he has done for us”.

From Grade 4 to Grade 7 — Truly Incredible Tuition

Imran Ahmed

I highly recommend Masterclass Tutors. My 1-to-1 sessions with Mr Arif were truly invaluable. He explains difficult ideas in a clear, step-by-step manner that actually makes sense.

I’ve been to many tuitions before, but most of them teach using the same methods as school, which didn’t help me. Mr Arif, however, uses a wide range of techniques that give real clarity and make concepts easier to understand. Even if a method seems basic to others, he never makes you feel embarrassed — he teaches in a way that meets you at your level and genuinely helps you learn.

Even after watching Maths Genie and other online videos, I still couldn’t fully grasp the concepts — but with Mr Arif, everything finally became clear.

My target for GCSE Maths was a Grade 4, and I ended up achieving a Grade 8. I am genuinely grateful I found Mr Arif, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.”

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does tutoring work? Do I need special equipment?

All you need is a fully charged electronic device – this can be a Laptop, tablet or a mobile phone.

Your device should have:

  • a basic camera to scan the student login QR code
  • the ability to connect to our Wi-Fi
  • earphones or headphones (very useful for voice-over and reading support)

Nothing complicated is required. We provide the environment, structure, teaching and digital learning tools – your child just needs a device and a positive mindset.

2. Why does my child need tuition at such a young age?

Most parents only consider tuition in Year 10 or 11, but by then students are often trying to catch up on years of missed fundamentals.

Early tuition builds strong foundations, confidence and good learning habits. Starting young means your child stays ahead, rather than struggling later.

3. How many sessions should my child attend each week?

For real, noticeable progress, we recommend 3–4 sessions per week.

This creates the consistency, routine and repetition needed to strengthen understanding and close gaps quickly. Students attending once a week improve slowly – but those attending multiple sessions each week make substantial, long-lasting progress.

4. What makes Masterclass Tutors different from other tuition centres?

We combine:

  • structured small-group tuition (maximum 10 students per tutor)
  • interactive app-based learning with pictures and voice-over
  • National Curriculum aligned content
  • SEMH-aware teaching methods and understanding of learning difficulties
  • affordable pricing so families can maintain consistency

We focus on creating a positive routine, providing structure, and using digital tools effectively – not just handing out worksheets.

5. How does the interactive app help my child learn?

Our learning platform provides:

  • voice-over reading of questions and instructions
  • correct pronunciation of key words
  • visual explanations using pictures
  • step-by-step progression through each skill
  • instant marking and feedback

This helps to improve:

  • reading fluency
  • vocabulary and spelling
  • comprehension
  • confidence in understanding exam and test questions
6. Will my child cope if they have learning difficulties or need extra support?

Yes.

Our head tutor works within the SEMH sector and understands:

  • learning difficulties
  • behaviour challenges
  • emotional needs
  • confidence and anxiety issues
  • slow processing and working memory needs

Sessions are delivered in a calm, patient and structured way and the pace is adjusted to match each learner.

7. Is small-group tuition as effective as 1-to-1?

For primary and early secondary students, small-group tuition is often more effective than 1-to-1 because:

  • children feel more motivated and engaged
  • they learn from each other’s questions and methods
  • it reduces pressure and helps build confidence
  • the environment feels more like a mini-classroom than an interview

For exam years such as GCSE Maths, we also offer 1-to-1 sessions for deeper, targeted support.

8. Are your prices really £8 per session? Why so affordable?

Yes – our mission is to make high-quality tuition accessible to as many families as possible.

Because we run small groups, we can keep the cost low while still delivering a high standard of teaching. Our pricing is:

  • £8 per group session
  • £5 per session when attending five sessions per week (block booking)

This allows families to prioritise the consistency that children need to make strong progress, without the high cost of traditional 1-to-1 tuition.
